Alaska pollock, also called walleye pollock is the most important groundfish species in world fisheries, producing catches of around 6 million tons a year. Alaska pollock is found in the temperate and colder waters of the North Pacific where it is the basis of one of the largest commercial fisheries in the world. Cooking MethodsAlaska Pollock is a good product for traditional fish and chips and is especially suitable in breaded items. It is also delicious baked, steamed, poached or sauteed. |
