This species continues to be of vital importance for many fishing communities, especially in Iceland, Norway and Canada. In response to the ever-increasing demand, Norwegian fish farmers have been growing cod, initially using young fish caught in the wild.

Cooking Methods
This versatile fish is low in fat, high in protein and excellent for baking, microwaving, pan frying, deep frying, poaching or simmering.
