Frostmark Scallops

Scallops are available year round and are normally shucked and iced aboard ship and sometimes frozen at sea for an often superior product. The popularity of scallops for retail consumption continues to increase, as these fish are able to escape many of the pollutants that other shellfish can't because of their mobility.

Cooking Methods
Poach, bake or saute 5 to 6 minutes or steam 3 to 5 minutes. Add scallops to soups and stews just before serving. They're also great grilled or skewered and barbecued, owing to their large size.
